About Me

After earning a masters degree in Clinical Exercise Physiology from Benedictine University, I began my career in personal training with a specialization in corrective exercise.  Learning very quickly that stretching alone is not enough, I became licensed in massage therapy.  As a Wellness Practitioner, I have been passionately helping others lead happier, healthier lifestyles for over 20 years. I am a licensed, professional member of the American Massage Therapy Association, as well as a NASM-certified personal trainer and NASM-certified nutrition coach.  Most recently I have earned Board Certification in Massage Therapy and Bodywork- the highest national credential available.  I work with professional athletes including the Chicago Bears, as well as the general population. In my massage work, I use my extensive knowledge of the body with various modalities and protocols including trigger point therapy, deep tissue, myofascial release, cupping, Thai stretching, Graston Technique, meridian and energy work.  I find it most effective to combine Eastern and Western concepts to create the best outcomes within the body.

I pride myself on an exceptional ability to listen, assess, and determine the most effective individualized approach to each session based on the goals and personal preferences of my clients.  Regular massages, as part of a wellness plan, will work to create strength and balance within the body, reduce physiological load and stress, increase energy, boost mental clarity, and ultimately promote vitality and enhanced quality of life.

An active, balanced lifestyle is a lifelong journey and one I love to share with family, friends, and clients.
